Architectural Folly

Folly (n.) a structure that often has no discernible purpose and placed within a garden or landscape

Intersecting and folding were the spatial operations implemented in the original component. The folds created and served as an artificial landscape which then traversed the natural landscape. A tower rooted into the hillside was created by stacking the component. Throughout the rest of the natural landscape (cliff and plateau) the unit is rotated and dug into the landscape to create multiple different experiences of the same component.
